1. About Macqrx

Macqrx is a personal tool for logging macaron batch results, fillings, humidity context, and bake timers. It is not a medical device and not a substitute for professional food-safety guidance.

2. License to use

Subject to the App Store terms and these terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Macqrx on Apple devices you own or control. You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, or misuse the app or its branding.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of photos, notes, and recipes you enter. You are responsible for backing up your device (e.g. iCloud / computer backup) if you want a copy outside the app. Clearing app data or deleting the app can permanently remove your journal.

4. Coins & In-App Purchases

• Coin packs are consumable digital goods sold through Apple.
• Typical spends: Batch Sheet PDF, HD Scorecard, extra batch slots (see in-app prices).
• There is no Restore for consumable packs. Manage billing / refunds with Apple.
• Coins have no cash value outside Macqrx.

5. Notifications & timers

Bake / rest timers schedule local notifications on your device. Delivery depends on iOS notification settings, Low Power Mode, and Focus modes. Keep the device on and notifications allowed for reliable alerts after you leave the app.

6. Disclaimer

The app is provided “as is.” Humidity tips, failure coach suggestions, and yield stats are informational only. Baking results vary. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost data, bake outcomes, or indirect damages arising from use of Macqrx.

7. Technical support

Need help? Include your iOS version and a short description of what happened.

8. Common questions

• Where is my data? On this iPhone, under the app’s Documents storage.
• Timer disappeared after force-quit? Re-open Bake Timer — an active countdown is restored from the saved end time if it has not finished.
• No notification? Check Settings → Macqrx → Notifications, and that Focus is not silencing alerts.
• Photo / mic denied? Re-enable in Settings, then try again in the form.
• Privacy details? See the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes & governing notes

We may update these terms when the product changes. The date above will be revised. App Store rules from Apple also apply to downloads and purchases.
